 This database is a new genealogy research product that provides instant access to more than 1.2 billion names, more than 3,000 databases, primary source documents and images, Gale's Passenger & Immigration Lists Index and, digital images of the census records from the US Federal Census between the years 1790 and 1920.

 MagillonLiterature Plus
 MagillonAuthors is a comprehensive reference resource comprised of information on over 1,500 notable authors. MagillonAuthors offers approximately 3,000 articles and over 450 images and covers long and short fiction writers, poets, dramatists and philosophers.

SC Newspapers: Columbia & Greenville
 IN THE LIBRARY | HOME ACCESS
 Includes The State, Greenville News, and selected national newspapers. Each paper provides unique coverage of local and regional news, including companies, politics, sports, industries, cultural activities, and people in the community.

 netLibrary
 netLibrary provides access to your library’s collection of eContent. eContent can be digital versions of printed material such as books or journals, databases or any digital content. All available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

 NoveList
 NoveList is a fiction database that provides subject heading access, reviews, annotations, and much more for over 120,000 fiction titles. It also includes other content of interest to fiction readers, such as Author Read-alikes, Book Discussion Guides, BookTalks, and Feature Articles. For school media specialists and teachers there are Standards-Based Thematic Units and Picture Book Extenders, as well as specific teaching guides for using fiction in the classroom.

 ReferenceUSA
 The ReferenceUSA database contains, in module format, detailed information on more than 14 million U.S. businesses, 210 million U.S. residents, 855,000 U.S. health care providers, 1.5 million Canadian businesses, and 12 million Canadian households. Other modules include Corp Tech and International Businesses. Libraries may customize the product by purchasing one or more modules.

 Easy-to-navigate and highly visual animal resource based on the Grolier print series of the same title, photos, links to animal sounds and locator maps

 Biography Resource Center + Who's Who
 This database combines award-winning biographies from respected Gale Group sources. Biography Resource Center also includes full-text articles from hundreds of periodicals. Search for people based on one or more personal facts such as birth and death year, nationality, ethnicity, occupation or gender, or combine criteria to create a highly-targeted custom search. With the Complete Marquis Who's Who(R), find quick reference information on an additional 900,000 people.

 Books & Authors
 Readers' advisory resource for recommended fiction and nonfiction. This database includes numerous search criteria, genre lists, plot summaries, author information, award lists, book reviews from more than 30 sources. It also has visual search technology for narrowing choices.

 Comprehensive periodical and reference resource for business, management and investment topics, with Newsletters ASAP and Predicast’s PROMT databases

 Grolier Encyclopedias
 Includes the New Book of Knowledge, Amazing Animals of the World, Encyclopedia Americana and Grolier's Multimedia Encyclopedia. Grolier's is an 11-million-word repository of text and images.

Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center
 Database of contemporary social issues with content structured to promote critical-thinking skills and information literacy

 Scribner Writers Series
 The Scribner Writers Series includes 1,564 essays on authors of all nationalities and time periods. Many authors are seen from multiple perspectives in two, three, or even four essays--a broad bio-critical overview as well as specialized treatments. Each essay includes a preface and a biography.

 Science Resource Center
 Comprehensive curriculum-oriented database of reference and periodical content covering Life Science, Physical Science, Earth and Space Science

 SIRS Knowledge Source
 Contains three SIRS databases in one:  SIRS Researcher (general reference), SIRS Government Reporter (information by and about the U.S. Government), and SIRS Renaissance (arts and humanities).

 SIRS Discoverer
 Contains thousands of full-text articles selected from more than 1,200 magazines, newspapers, and government documents. Also included are these popular research tools: The World Almanac for Kids, Funk & Wagnalls New Encyclopedia, and Merriam-Webster`s Collegiate Dictionary and Thesaurus.
