Make a Donation to the Library

Support from private individuals and community organizations help to make our library a vital part of the community, with reading at its center.

Both the Camden Kiwanis Club and Camden Rotary Club have raised funds for children's reading areas and materials.  The annual Race To Read, held at Doby's Mill Elementary School every fall, raises funds to support the Elgin Library. Grass roots volunteer projects in Bethune have greatly improved the exterior of the Bethune Library.  The Camden Garden Club has made great improvements to the side entrance at the Camden Library.

Private donations may be made for specific projects or additions to the collection. Your contribution can be targeted toward an area that you would like the library to improve. Books may also be purchased in memory or celebration of a loved one, which are commemorated with inscribed book plates.
