Join local chef Melissa Saavedra, of Every Day Gourmet, as she demonstrates new takes on classic Southern cuisine. Prepare to fuse Southern and Italian cuisine with cornbread Panzanella, discover that gluten-free Mac n’ Cheese is delicious, and learn how to whip up an easy angel food cake dessert. Melissa will share tips to build confidence in new cooks, while experienced cooks will get new ideas.
This class will be the first using a demonstration kitchen donated by the Meadows family in memory of Mrs. Betty Poole, a long-time library supporter and avid reader.
