Join us for a day of fun-filled science activities for all ages!
Science Saturday! begins at 11 a.m. with a free screening of “Hidden Figures” at the Camden Little Theatre. “Hidden Figures” tells the story of three brilliant African-American women whose work with NASA changed history. No tickets are required, and seating is first come, first served.
After the movie, patrons are invited to visit the Camden library from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for the day’s hands-on science events. Competitions with bridge building and an egg-drop will provide fun challenges for all ages, and the day’s inspiration includes a nature walk and an art program. Ongoing activities from 1-4 include drone and robot demonstrations, green screen photos, slime-making, and more.
Many thanks to the Duke Energy Foundation and NASA At My Library for sponsoring these events!
