Wild Edibles: An Online Foraging Workshop

Before there were grocery stores, or even farms, there were foragers. No matter where in the world your ancestry is from, we all are descendants of people who knew how to gather and prepare wild foods and medicines. We can still use many of the plants and fungi that supported their survival. Winter is a good time to learn about the varied and delicious wild edibles that will be sprouting, blooming, and fruiting once the days are warmer. Join us for a zoom experience that includes a photo survey of some of these useful local species, as well as an interactive online romp through the winter woods.
This is an online program. To get the link to the class Zoom, please register by emailing Amy at amys@kershawcountylibrary.org
