Friends of the Library Book Sale

After Sale Update: Friends president Bob Giangiorgi thanks everyone for their support with the book sale and is looking forward to working with everyone over the next year. He believes that “while the final numbers are still out, we know we had a very good book sale – probably one of the best in recent years.” Thank you all for your support of the sale, for your donations, and volunteers– thanks for your time!

The dates have been announced for the Friends’ annual book sale! The Friends of the Kershaw County Library will be hosting the book sale, this year, in September. It will be in the Old Armory at 1034 W. DeKalb Street in Camden.  As usual, the Friends of the Library get exclusive access to the sale the night before the doors open to the general public (you can sign up for the Friends at the door). After Friends night, the general public sale will last for seven more days. Here are the days of the sale:

Friends Night:  Thurs. 9/20/185 pm – 8 pm  (active membership required)
Fri. 9/21:  Noon – 8 pm
Sat. 9/22:  10 am – 5 pm
Sun. 9/23:  Noon – 5 pm
Thurs. 9/27:  Noon – 8 pm
Fri. 9/28:  Noon – 8 pm
Sat. 9/29:  10 am – 5 pm
Sun. 9/30 (half-price):  Noon – 5 pm

The Friends of the Kershaw County Library kindly put on a book sale, every year, to benefit the library! But the Friends need your help! Come and sign up at the volunteer website to help us out with set-up, sorting, pricing, and actually running the sale. We can use any and all help offered. We appreciate anyone’s time and effort!
