How to Get a Library Card
Kershaw County Library offers free library cards to Kershaw County residents. We’ve got three different locations to serve you and we’d love to see you at one and sign you up for a card! Here’s how to do it:
- Bring your Kershaw County driver’s license or ID to a local branch and fill out a form there. If you just moved and don’t have an ID yet, no worries! You can bring your mortgage papers, lease/rent agreement, utility bill, passport, or even your child’s Kershaw County school registration.
- If you live outside of Kershaw County, you can still get a library card. Non-residents pay a low $15 fee for a library card, and for one year, you get the benefits of the library! Borrowing books/DVDs/audiobooks, the ability to use our digital and downloadable services, and have access to services inside the library.
