Community Outreach

The Outreach team springs into action this season! We’re hoping to take advantage of the warmer weather and be all around Kershaw County. The bookmobile will be visiting various apartments, communities, and events this spring. As always, at our bookmobile stops, you can sign up for a library card, check out books and DVDs, and get assistance from a librarian (we can help with research, community resources, and more!). With warmer weather, we’re also hoping to start back with outdoor storytimes at local daycares and preschools. The outreach van will also be visiting varying Food for the Soul and United Way Mobile Nutrition Center stops. When people pick up a meal or box of food, they can drive by the library van and get a free book for themselves and/or their kids!

We look forward to showing you all the ways the library can help. Stop by and see us this season.

Don’t miss us at the Nature as Teacher’s Grand Opening Event (247 Chestnut Ferry Rd. in Camden) on April 22 from 5 PM to 8 PM (the event starts at 4 PM, so feel free to go out earlier)!
