Join KCL Elgin for a new anime club for older teens & adults… the Sub Dub Club. This program is for watching the anime and discussing afterwards (if you like). We ask that discussion and chat be held until each episode is over or until the end of the program. Disturbing other viewers is not allowed.
We’ll be watching anime like Kaiju No. 8, Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, Dragon Ball Super, One Piece, and more. For specific title dates, please see our teen event page by clicking here.
This program will be held on Mondays, from 4-6 PM, through November 18, 2024.
There will be no SDC on Sept. 23, Oct. 28, Nov. 11, or Nov. 25.
Note to parents: Due to content, a consent form is required for minor teens to attend. You can fill out the form below or in person at the Elgin library. Forms must be received before your teen attends their first afternoon. There will be a librarian present in the meeting room while the program is in session. Feel free to drop your teen off if you would like, just make sure to be at the library by 5:55 PM to pick them up.
Questions on content? Search the anime in question at IMDB or Common Sense Media to see summaries, synopses, and warnings.
