There aren’t enough dollars to fund all the exciting educational programs and materials our county residents need and deserve.
That is why the Friends of the Kershaw County Library was founded. Friends are passionate about helping our library be an even more vital part of our community.
Thank you for your interest in joining Friends of the Kershaw County Library! Your membership helps advocate for & support the library, fund library materials & services, and provide events for the community. When you join us, you’ll:
Benefits of joining include an invitation to attend a members-only preview sale for the annual spring book sale, thank you events for Friends joining at the $100 and above level, and a discounted rate for library photocopies.

FOKCL is a 501C3 organization, and membership contributions are tax-deductible to the extent of the law.
Friends of the Library Board members feel a strong commitment for service to the organization. There are monthly Board meetings, committee meetings, and activities as scheduled by the respective committee chairs.
